Having trouble loading the Mythic Resource Pack or another servers Resource Pack? Follow the simple steps here, from most common issues to less common.

1. Enable Server Resource Packs

The most common reason for the pack not loading is that it’s disabled in your server settings.

1. Go to your Multiplayer server list.
2. Select the server with issues. (don’t join yet, just click it once).
3. Click Edit at the bottom of the screen.
4. Locate the Server Resource Packs setting.
5. Cycle (click through) the setting until it says Enabled or Prompt.
6. Click Done and rejoin the server.

2. Clear Your server-resource-packs Folder

Sometimes a corrupted download can prevent the pack from loading properly.

1. Close Minecraft completely.
2. Navigate to your .minecraft folder:
   • Windows: Press Win + R, type %appdata%\.minecraft, and hit Enter.
   • Mac: In Finder, click Go -> Go to Folder, type ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft, and hit Enter.
3. Find the folder named server-resource-packs and open it.
4. Delete everything inside this folder. (it’s generally safe to delete these, as servers will automatically re-download lost resource packs for you)
5. Restart Minecraft and join the server. It should now re-download a fresh copy of the pack.

3. Check Your Mods

Some client-side mods can conflict with server resource packs.

• OptiFine: Ensure “Custom Items”, “Custom Colors”, and “Custom Fonts” are turned ON in Video Settings -> Quality.
• Sodium/Embeddium: Usually fine, but ensure you have the necessary helper mods (like Citresewn or Polytone if the server relies on CIT features, though standard server packs work without them).
• Incompatible Mods: If you recently installed a new mod and the pack broke, try temporarily disabling it.

4. Manual Download (Last Resort)

If the automatic prompt never appears or fails instantly:

1. Ask a staff member in our Discord for a direct download link.
2. Download the .zip file.
3. Place it in your standard resourcepacks folder in .minecraft.
4. In-game, go to Options -> Resource Packs and move the Mythic pack to the Right column (top of the list).
