Parkour has successfully concluded for now, don’t worry to those who participated we’ll be saving your stats for full release. We’ve had parkour open for longer than scheduled due to its popularity with minimal advertising. During the beta we focused on getting everything ready for a full release, below is a full changelog of everything we’ve added or changed during the beta.

Parkour will return for 26.1.2+ when we are closer to releasing survival.

  • Restore session for when you logout while in a course now only triggers when 1 or more checkpoints have been activated, ignoring checkpoint-less maps or players who don’t pass at least one checkpoint.
  • Session restore doesn’t automatically restore courses anymore, instead giving you an option in form a of confirmation menu before joining a new course.

  • Timing now changed to the nearest 50ms, this makes the times tick accurate (old times have been successfully converted to reflect this change)

Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that showed an invalid message, when attempting to leave map
  • Fixed a bug that would display preview warning when respawning
  • Fixed standing on a start pressure plate looping too quickly
  • Course and player data loading and saving improvements
  • Courses with potion effects now apply them for an infinite time
  • Fixed a bug in Warden map that caused a server crash
  • Players respawning don’t stay on fire anymore.
  • Fixed a bug that would cause data saving to overlap on rare occasions
  • Fixed a bug that would break the /parkour stats command
  • Fire overlay disabled entirely (no on-screen fire)
  • Fixed a bug that would cause replay, advanced mode, and night-vision settings to reset to default
  • Added a slight cooldown to settings while in-game to avoid opening after checkpoint reset miss-click
  • Rotation now applies when using auto replay setting and being teleported back to start of course
  • Re-implemented implemented hotbar item cooldown’s to avoid miss-clicks in-game
  • Fixed issues with chat for particular ranks
  • Fixed a bug with resuming courses upon relog
  • Big changes to start, checkpoint and finish plate registration, it will now detect more triggers and you’ll notice less failures
  • Improved loading courses on startup, this has improved startup times for restarts
  • Improved lookups for offline players with leaderboards, making them a bit more responsive automatically refreshing
